Discovering Your True Identity: A Journey of Transformation

The truth of who we are is so essential that its absence demands a high price, often causing us to lose our sense of identity, personal goals, and intimate relationships. To become ourselves wholeheartedly, we must discover exactly who God created us to be.

In a world full of influences and external pressures, it's easy to get lost in the noise and confusion. However, when we turn to God in search of our true identity, we find clarity, purpose, and joy in being who we were called to be.

In this blog, we will explore the journey of discovering our true identity and how it can radically transform our lives and relationships.

For many of us, the journey of self-discovery is a path that is not always easy to tread. Often, we let circumstances, opinions, and others' expectations shape who we are. However, the truth is that we were created by a loving God who knows us intimately and loves us unconditionally. He has a unique and wonderful plan for each of us.

So, we want to encourage you to discover who you truly are in God. Who better to reveal our identity than our Creator? We want to encourage you to do a practical exercise this week. Set aside time every day to connect with God in prayer and meditation. Learn to listen and recognize His voice. Ask Him to reveal to you who He has called you to be, what unique and beautiful plan He has written for your life.

We believe that we are called to live in intimacy with the Lord, the more we know of Him, the more we know about ourselves, about God's original plan for our lives.

Matthew 4:19-20 NIV

Then Jesus said to them: "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.

Jesus invited those men to follow Him and so, He would make them fishers of men. In this equation, the part that belonged to the disciples was simply to follow Jesus. The responsibility for transformation was Jesus', He said He would transform them into who He was calling them to be. Jesus transforms us along the way, our mission is to keep our eyes on Him and follow Him wherever He leads us. Trust and rest assured that He loves you and that His plans are better and greater than yours.

No matter the mistakes you've made, what you've been through, God has a perfect plan of restoration and fullness for you. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV).

With your inner transformation, your outer self will also be transformed. God has gifted you with unique abilities and talents, the world awaits the manifestation of your true self!
